The beam quality and the high power of the diode lasers are perfectly suitable for laser coating, laser deposit welding, hardening, brazing and additive manufacturing applications.

Diode lasers with lower output powers are supplied by DILAS – the diode laser company, which belongs to the ROFIN Group. With the use of these diode lasers, even very small electronic components, in the range of a few tenths of a millimeter, as well as heat sensitive electronic parts can be processed. Especially in the field of plastic welding or soft soldering, diode lasers with lower output powers are ideally suited.

Ultrashort pulse lasers - High End-Technology for Industrial Applications (24/7)
Ultrashort pulse lasers (USP lasers) which provide sufficient output power for industrial applications offer pulse lengths in the range from some 10 picoseconds to some 100 femtoseconds. They can be used for laser cutting, drilling, laser marking or surface treatment applications. Ultrashort pulses are shorter than the time needed for most energy diffusion processes within the atomic lattice. Therefore no heat is transferred to surrounding material which eliminates any unwanted material change. This is the reason why the method is referred to as 'cold'.
